Insgesamt 12 Std., mit Wartezeit in Sydney, waren wir unterwegs. Bei unserem Anflug auf Auckland konnten wir schon viele Regenwolken erkennen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wir hatten trotzdem noch Gl\u00c3\u00bcck, das Wochenende war noch einigerma\u00c3\u0178en trocken. \/><\/a><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Urspr\u00c3\u00bcnglich wollten wir uns mit Ulla, einer Freundin aus Hemilton, in Auckland treffen. Da wir einen der Camper allerdings erst Sonntag, mit einiger Verz\u00c3\u00b6gerung, \u00c3\u00bcbernehmen konnten, kam Ulla zum Campground. Wir haben dann abends gegrillt. Die Neuseeland-Bratwurst, das haben wir schnell festgestellt, kann man vergessen. Ulla ist am fr\u00c3\u00bchen Abend dann nach Hause gefahren. Sie hat uns, falls es vom Streckenverlauf her passt, nach Hamilton eingeladen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Am n\u00c3\u00a4chsten Tag hatten wir auch Regen. Mittags kl\u00c3\u00a4rte es sich dann auf, und wir sind bei Sonne an einem wundersch\u00c3\u00b6nen Strand. Dieser Campground lag auf einem H\u00c3\u00bcgel am Bay of Island. Der Ort, der Campground die fantastische Umgebung, und der strahlende Sonnenschein haben uns f\u00c3\u00bcr den Regen mehr als entsch\u00c3\u00a4digt. Hier wurde 1840 der Vertrag mit den Maoris unterzeichnet. (Waitinga) Wir haben uns mit einer F\u00c3\u00a4hre zum Ort des Geschehens bringen lassen, und haben sehr sch\u00c3\u00b6ne Eindr\u00c3\u00bccke \u00c3\u00bcber das Brauchtum der Maoris kennen
